You will need to go back to a save before mods were enabled. You have to go back to before mods to get achievements. I find weapon selection in Fallout 4 pretty terrible. Like bullet time mods (VAFS works well and changes perks accordingly to work with it as well as vats). So modding something else into the game as alternative to me is a welcome. The game is great without mods (coming from a guy with around 150).
